Pipe Welder-Fitter - Entry Level

This is an entry level position; full-time; overtime and weekend work required. Work with a team to complete general to comprehensive pipe welding tasks as assigned.

$24 - $29/hr DOE

• $55 per diem (daily allowance during travel)

Responsibilities

• Ability to take directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
• Ability to efficiently operate various hand and power tools
• Ability to work at elevations installing pipe, hangers, or equipment
• Ability to TIG weld / Arc weld carbon and stainless steel piping (will train)
• Ability to fit up and prep piping spools as directed (will train)
• Ability and willingness to help and assist others when needed
• Ability and willingness to learn and progress into a journeyman fitter or welder

Qualifications

• Less than 1-2 years' experience
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Valid drivers' license (good record preferred)
• Ability to travel frequently, work overtime and weekends
• Ability to pass drug test and physical capacity profile
